Orlando's Carnival is held at the End of May. The Festival is hosted by the Orlando Carnival Association Inc. 

The first Caribbean Carnival was held on Memorial Day Weekend  in 1987. Johnson Gilbert and other four persons, including Mark Modeste, Gloria Chandler, and Tina Stubbs were able to generate a ‘big carnival party’ in the Fairgrounds. The Carnival has grown every year since then. 
The Orlando Carnival is one of the largest events, supported by the Orlando Carnival Association Inc. The Orlando Carnival offers financial backing to the local public and businessmen. Local businesses, civilian groups and many government departments in Orlando participate in the Orlando Carnival Association. 

Nowadays, the Orlando Carnival includes a street parade and celebrated live shows, Kiddies Carnival, J’Ouvert, Miss Orlando Carnival Cultural Pageant, steel band music, dj’s, calypso, ethnic foods, souvenirs and the grand finale.

The Orlando Carnival includes many events. Participants include: Most famous Costumes, Bands, like "United We Red", "Island Fantasy", "Southchase Island Gems", "Powerline Sounds HD Productions", "Jamaican Link Up", "Tribe of Pride", "TrinBago Mass Camp", "V. I. Link Up."

The Orlando Carnival Association conducts the parade in Downtown Orlando. The parade starts at mid-noon.

Hotel accommodations are provided by the large hotels downtown Orlando, including the Lexington Hotel, Orlando Marriott Downtown.
